Yellowstone National Park

We went to Yellowstone National Park over the weekend with Jerame's mom. It was beautiful! Above is the view we got on our hike to Lower Falls on Saturday in the Yellowstone Grand Canyon. Notice the rainbow in the lower left corner. No this is not a postcard this is a picture I took while trying to remember to breathe and trying to forget we were all just a couple feet from death. The chain link fence didn't make me feel to much better but a very beautiful hike and view at the end. Here are a few of the pictures we took. It was very hard to narrow it down but here is what I came up with. Enjoy!

Here is Aly in the road into the park. We stopped to dip our feet.

Here is Emma as we are driving into our campground on Friday night. She has a friend outside her window.

Of course we had a good ol' wienie roast. Well the kids anyway. This was Saturday night.

The scene above is what we experienced most of Saturday. Buffalo or Buttalo as Aly calls them were blocking the road everywhere we went. It was so cool and kept the kids entertained. We had nearly no fits on Saturday they were having so much fun. Jerame's mom's favorite animal is now a buffalo (or Bison) because we saw so many and they were so entertaining.

This is on Sunday on our way out of the park. It is the same spot we stopped at on our way in but we liked it so we stopped again and got our feet wet. Linda, Jerame's mom, and Emma actually ended up soaked from top to bottom at the end because they got carried away swimming.

This again is at the Lower Falls in the Yellowstone Grand Canyon on Saturday. See what I mean about the fence! I made them move as soon as the picture was taken. If you look close you can see the waterfall drop off behind them!!! Yikes!

Here is a picture Jerame took of the waterfall over the fence. I couldn't get close enough to the fence to take this one.

Lacey was thrilled to know there was a creek named after her. She was not happy to know they misspelled her name.

And of course Old Faithful. The kids got a kick out of this! We stopped here on Friday on our way to our campground. It was really cool.

We do wish we had more time to see everything but we actually covered quite a bit of the park in 3 days. Now we are convinced we need to go back and go slower.

Best Paint

The owner of this truck that we restored through the shop put it in a car show in Idaho Falls this weekend and it won BEST PAINT!!! Know who painted it? That's right.....my husband! Well except we hired out the air brushing for the true fire. The airbrushing on the tailgate is pretty cool too but I don't have pics of it on this computer. To see all the pics through the whole restoration go to http://www.teelcollisioncenter.blogspot.com/

School Bus

So we got a school bus to repair at our shop today! The girls just think it's awesome! Aly wasn't sure at first and wouldn't get in but when she saw the other two just jump up in there so figured it couldn't be all bad. So Emma and Aly ran up and down the isle and Lacey pretensded to drive. In their minds I don't think there is anything much cooler that we could get in the shop. They had a blast. Too bad it will only be here a couple more days!
