My productive day

Well I had a very productive day yesterday. Jerame was out of town working on a restoration that the shop is doing all day. So I decided to mow the lawn. Yes I mowed the lawn. He had done the front yard friday night so I just had to do the back yard. JUST! So I found out about 10 feet into my job that the lawn mower needed mor gas. So I packed up the kids, went to the gas station, got gas and a few snacks for the girls because I knew this project would take me a while, and came back home. I actually mowed the lawn. Then I came inside and cleaned the whole kitchen, family room, living room, and did about a million loads of laundry and folded and put them all away!!!!! Then I was making dinner when Jerame finally got home at about 7:30. I know late dinner but the girls were playing outside all day and now that Lacey is on summer vacation this is generally normal. We are outside so much and it's light so late that dinner is put off a little. So I just needed to pat myself on the back a little. Now I feel better.

My haircut

OK Mom here it is. I got a haircut too but I'm not completely thrilled with it. I played with it a little and I like it a little better.

Beautiful Weather

So finally Pocatello, Idaho has beautiful weather. Lacey, Emma, Aly, and I decided to take advantage of it and play outside! Here are some pictures that we took. They started by picking all the flowers in the grass for me. Just to warn you, Aly's diaper was soggy so I took it off while Lacey went to grab me a new one. She got to run around for a while with no diaper but when she went down the slide on her tummy her dress flew up. Of course I took this as a "can't miss" picture opportunity. Also her dress was a little loose so she also has some booby shots.

Pirate Birthday Party

Well we finally had Emma's and Aly's birthday party. Emma chose a pirate theme. Here they are blowing out their candles.

They had a treasure hunt and treasure chest pinata. I asked Jerame for help with the treasure hunt thinking we'd just make it real simple. He made it quite elaborate though. He even burned the edges of his treasure map. They had fun. Below is a picture of the group going through the "Enchanted Forest" in our back yard (Jerame's idea). I think Jerame figured that a pink pirate party was the closest he'd ever get to a boy party so he ran with it. Lacey actually had more friends there then Aly and Emma combined.

It was fun for everyone especially since it wasn't freezing!
